Product reviews...
I picked this up to review yesterday because I wanted something a bit mindless to laugh along to after working hard all day. I got exactly what I wanted. This is a silly cartoon aimed at the same bunch who would dig things like Ren and Stimpy, Family Guy, American Dad and South Park. There's no thought required, it's just slapstick funny and lots of it in short doses.
The Rabbids are pretty much the ultimate in indestructable critters. I dunno if they are supposed to be aliens, mutants or what, but they just don't seem to be killable and they sure don't have any sense of self preservation or personal safety. They are also utterly free of the constraints of polite behaviour too. They are like toddlers in terminator bodies - lots of curiousity, invulnerable, and totally unstoppable. They are also pretty sadistic too because if anyone has an accident or gets hurt it's just one more thing for the Rabbids to laugh at even if the victim is one of their own.
This led to some really entertaining hijinx that had me choking on my dinner with laughter while I was chillaxing after work. The cartoon style is pretty basic, and there is very little dialogue in each show. Most of the talking is done by the Rabbids really.
Favourite clip of them all, if I had to pick just one, would be the Rabbids Against The Machine, because I have seen some people doing pretty stupid things to rip off vending machines in the past and getting stuck instead.
