A surprisingly interesting book. With an extremely high level of coverage of our land, this has to be one of the most comprehensive aerial survey publications to date.
Seeing our country from this perspective really gives you a new outlook on where and how we live, what a fragile balance we are part of, and how we are affecting and reshaping the world around us. And gives us a better idea of the consequences of our choices.
May not be everyone's idea of a coffee table book, but enjoying different perspectives of our world is my idea of a lazy sunday afternoon read, out in the sun and gentle breeze. I found this book highly absorbing.
Amazing accuracy, thanks to the technologies employed by Terralink, and laid out in a logical sequence. Loved the index design. This book is very easy to read. And the extra details added in, the highlights of various regions, and some of the background surrounding them add to the feeling of this book.
Overall, very impressive.
