I've always been a huge fan of Freddo's and have fond childhood memories of eating Freddo's from a very young age. Due to there small size and there fun frog shaped chocolate character they were often our families 'treat food' after a game of netball on a Saturday morning, or as a bit of a bribe to get us to do something like clean our bedrooms. I even remember the school caretaker having a stash of Freddo's which got handed out to those who helped to collect the rubbish from the classrooms each day, the reward of a tasty chocolate Freddo definetely had everyone volunteering!

With much more Freddo's in a Cadbury share pack as opposed to other Cadbury products such as Crunchies or Pinky's I still today will buy Freddo's, as they are a great size and make a great treat for Miss 2. When I was in Australia on holiday a couple of years ago I happened to come across a variety of different flavoured freddo's which were new to me, I had only seen the Dairy Milk and the Milky Top Freddo's in New Zealand. I felt like I was in Freddo heaven, there were 100's and 1000;s Freddo's, strawberry filled Freddo's, popping candy Freddo's, but most importantly peppermint Freddo's. As much as I love peppermint my partner and his family are peppermint CRAZY it is their ultimate flavour of choice so of course we had to purchase a pile of these to bring back to New Zealand.

Within the fun Cadbury Chocolate Freddo flows out smooth, silky green peppermint. The peppermint has the most lovely minty taste and seems a lot nicer than products which have the thicker white mint in them. The mint is not to strong and definetely doesn't over power the beautiful taste of the Cadbury Dairy Milk.

I was so happy to purchase these from Reduced to Clear, and they tasted just the way I remember, my Mother in Law loved them so much when we brought her some back from Australia that for her upcoming birthday I have purchased her a box full of these delightful minty frogs which she is sure to love. I have also seen these at selected dairy's around Hamilton, and I live in hope that one day these make there way to the supermarket.

Product image for FishworldLocated in the shopping complex on the corner of College Street and Botanical Road, this 'chippie' is a hidden secret of mammoth proportions. With some unique ways of dealing with the food, this has to be a great place to grab some good munchies.

The staff are friendly, helpful and very skilled in their chosen career, the store is clean and tidy and has a good open feel to it, and from the number of orders that fly out the door and ... more...
