Out of all the tasty pot meals this one was by far my favourite!! I think in part to the fact I am a big chicken eater opting for chicken over red meat the majority of the time and I love a curry. As far as curries go this was very mild but I think that is quite normal for a Korma I was expecting a bit more spice though as I am used to eating quite spicy curries with a bit more heat. Due to the fact this was mild I could share a little bit with my 3 year old and he had no problems eating it which was a bonus.

The description of this product appealed to me with the cashew and cauliflower as they are both ingredients I love and there was certainly no shortage of cauliflower. I definitely thought there was more cauliflower than chicken which I didn't mind seen as I like cauliflower but it would of been nice to have a bit more chicken. The chicken that was in the meal was of a shredded consistency rather than chunks which added to the feeling that there just wasn't quite enough chicken contained in this meal.

The size of these meals are great for a single person they are quite deceiving because you look at the pot thinking that it is quite a small meal but they actually contain quite a lot. I thought for me this is probably a little big for lunch and I wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing but for dinner it is quite a good size and I would probably have it with a bit of bread to dip in the sauce.

I would normally have a curry with rice and although this contains some brown rice you can't really see much rice and it is mixed in with the other ingredients so doesn't feel like you are having rice with it. All in all I did really enjoy this and would buy it again a great product for me when my partner is away on work and I don't feel like cooking for just myself.

I was lucky enough to try a new flavour from the Tasty Pot range. I love buying these when they are on special and having in the fridge (because they have a long expiry date) to take for a special lunch. I think the price is great as to buy a hot lunch at a cafe would cost me more than this.

I love that they are gluten free and 100% natural. All the meals that I have tried have rice included which I love as it just bulks it up a little. Heating is easy by just putting plastic cover and popping in the microwave. I do find however that the plastic container does get very hot and not so easy to grab out of microwave.

The Chicken Korma has got brown rice included which make it a healthy option, although there is very little rice in this one. All the vegetables are mixed in so for those that don't like vegetables they are unnoticeable in flavour. The Korma had a very interesting taste. I would say it was quite powdery in texture. I was surprised as to the amount of heat that this Korma had. It was too hot for my son (who loves curry) but I suppose there was no rice on the side that you would use to dampen the heat down. Looking at this on a plate did not look very appetising either.

Although I did not enjoy this flavour I will continue to buy the flavours from this company that I do enjoy. Love having a NZ company making natural products.

I had brought this the previous day and was really looking forward to having this for my lunch. The packaging looks really appealing and modern, and I had presumed that it would be a sauce with chunky meat and some rice through it.

When I opened it was was a bowl full of chunky chunks. There was a lot more vegetables that I had expected and I would have liked to have known about this on the front side of the label. I'm not sure I really liked the beans in it - It is not what I would expect if I ordered Korma when I was out. There was a lack of chunky chicken, and it appeared to be shredded throughout. I was disappointed in this.

The flavour was very true to Korma and slightly spicy, so this was a good choice for a cold and blustery Dunedin day. The portion size was great, it would make a really good dinner, and although it seems expensive, you wouldn't be able to buy dinner many places for $6.49.

I didn't manage to eat the whole lot, partly because it is a large dinner sized serving, and partly because the texture of it wasn't my thing. It was hard to tell what was chicken and what was cauliflower. I think this would be better in something such as enchiladas or a wrap with additional rice. The flavour is quiet strong without additional rice to break it up.

Overall, I am not sure I would buy this flavour again. However I am looking forward to trying the soups out and I would purchase 'Tasty Pot' branded products after trying this one.

After reading the packaging of previous flavours, I knew to expect a chuckle if I read the bottom of the packaging; I appreciate the small things.

This product looked rather odd. It seemed more of a chunky processed meal than the traditional meat and sauce. But it is what it is; a curry, with cauliflower and brown rice all mixed in together. I ended up spooning it into another bowl, as it looked rather unappealing in the original packaging, and was obviously hot to hold, from the heating process.

The peppers and cauliflower came in significantly sized chunks in my meal. While not ultimately unpleasant, I had a cauliflower piece that was larger than a grape, which I couldn't help think missed the blender. The peppers were smaller, but still large enough that the flavour of the meal was significantly different between mouthfuls that did, and those that did not include peppers. The chicken was not really present in large chunks, and appeared to have disintegrated into the sauce, but overall it was a tasty blend. I did not have any of the meal left over, and I quite enjoyed the sweetness that the "cashew nut spiced sauce" provided.

Thanks to this product I will probably experiment a bit with different additions to my sauces, but the serving size felt too small. I was left still feeling hungry, so the price tag feels even higher in retrospect. While I enjoyed the meal, with my budget it isn't really something that I would be able to add to my shopping list.

I seem to be going through a bit of a curry phase lately... there just seems to be more curries in the pantry than normal... and I LOVE it! This was the latest addition to my curried line-up and I was very keen to trial it as soon as I finally managed to grab one off the shelf - literally had to drive to the other end of town to get it, but it was so worth it.

Visually, it's a little off-putting, but the old adage about judging a book by it's cover holds true here too - it may look less than stunning, but it smells amazing and tastes incredible. I served mine over some microwave rice simply because I didn't want to wait 15 minutes to steam rice. After finishing this, I was sorely tempted to jump in my car and blaze back to the store to start emptying the shelf of the remaining pots... kinda makes me understand why these have been so hard to find in stores.

The dish claims to have brown rice in it, but alas I saw no evidence of that. Still, I am happier to have bugger-all rice, making room for more chicken, more cauliflower, and more of this amazing cashew sauce. I'm so used to peanut sauce in Indian dishes, the cashews took me by surprise - very pleasantly I must say.

The next day, I did in fact go and purchase a few more tubs, just so I could have a play in the kitchen... adding some cornstarch to thicken the sauce a bit more, adding in some extra shredded chicken, and using this to make mini pies was, if I do say so myself, and inspired idea. Great as a snack, they were best when eaten straight after cooking... allowing a bit of time to come down from 'lava' temperature.

Overall, this is a wonderful wee snack. The price is a little steep for a snack, but one mouthful and you will understand why it is still a good price - quality costs, and this is quality. Being Gluten-free AND dairy-free, this is going to have huge appeal to those on allergy-aware diets. The latest in a long line of great-tasting allergy-friendly foods... and one I think I will be eating plenty of.
