When I first laid eyes on the Sigelei 15W mod I was pretty impressed with the look and the feel of it. The body is a nice stainless steel tubular design it has an adjustable battery chamber to accommodate the 18650 and the 26650 batteries. The 510 connector has a removable sleeve so you can use either flat bottomed tank design or the eGo style tanks which is handy if you are upgrading from the eGo kit you can use your existing tanks.
The ample LCD display, will help you keep track of your charge status and watts or vaults settings, it also has a puff counter so you can track your progress if you are giving up cigarettes. Unfortunately this counter resets after each battery change. The battery is installed in the bottom of the mod, by unscrewing the little cap at the very bottom but I found it a lot easier to just unscrew the entire base, as the threads were extremely tight and trying to grip the tiny end cap was near impossible.
To access the menu you need to click the fire button 5 times in quick succession. This is where things get interesting as this mod has only one button. Sigelei have installed a gravity switch to change the settings so if you want to increase or decrease values you need to tip the mod left or right accordingly. This would be pretty exciting for some people but I found it a bit of a hassle and even more annoying when it stopped working all together and I was left with the current settings.
I use the Sigelei for 3 months with a kangatech tank running 1.5 ohm coils and I believe it to be a reasonable mod for the right user unfortunately I am not that person. As my vape lives with me 24/7 it did not take long to start failing and at $100 + there are a lot harder wearing mods available. But if shiny things get you going you might want to take a look because it definitely has all the bells and whistles to keep the tech lovers satisfied.
