Taking into account that this is a budget soundcard, this is an occasion where the scoring system doesn't quite fit the product, so i've taken the essence of the first two Ratings, Features is in comparison to any other std vanilla sound card, and extras is taken in the context of extra programs installed with the card.

Right onto the review. I have been running a machine with a stock std onboard sound card for a while, and I was getting fed up with the lousy sound quality I was getting in some of the higher end games, so I got myself a new sound card, and boy what a difference it makes, everthing just sounds so much more immersive and richer sounding than any vanilla audio device. I had run an older version of this card a while ago (SB Live Value 2.0) but this just improves things no end even over the older card.

The software supplied with the card is the std lot you would expect from any Creative SB card, but more that you get with the other cheap brands.

And probably the clincher to making this card one to get, it has 7.1 Surround Sound Capability try getting that on any other chep card.
