This season was one that started with a death and the crew must learn to go on without one of their own. Most the season is dealing with finding what happened and why. The question about personal relationships between sailors comes up again.

The actors played their parts really well, you could feel sorry for them and be happy when things went right, as always there are pirates and illegal activities and someone is hiding things. There were familiar faces in the guest roles (but that happens when you watch a lot of Australian and New Zealand shows) but the story is so worth watching that you soon forget about where you have seen the faces before and just get hooked in the story.

The last episode was action packed, glad that there were answers as I'm sure in life a lot of people are left wondering what happened and why a loved one had to die.

Product reviews for listing 702: Hancock's Half Hour - Volume One -  Type of Show: Comedy Series

Product image for HancockIn 1956 the massively popular radio show "Hancock's Half Hour" transferred to the flourishing new BBC television service. Here, Tony Hancock, 'the lad himself', continued his role as East Cheam's antagonistic, socially aspirational misanthrope, as writers Galton and Simpson adapted his role for the small screen.

Contains five episodes and a bonus Christmas special.
