If you have stopped listening to Creed because they are a band of Christians, then shame on you! Creed are a great musical group, that made some beautiful songs that rocked out, and gave you an anthem to sing along with. While the members were all Christian, they were always Christians, so to rise to fame, and have it suddenly ripped away, is barbaric, and incredibly idiotic.

With many worldwide tours with huge artists, and having their music on the soundtracks of many movies, Creed did incredibly well releasing 3 studio albums, before releasing their Greatest Hits. And what an album it is! I instantly recognised 9 of the 13 songs from regular airplay on the rock radio stations, and I thoroughly enjoyed the other four.

'Bullets' was one of the four songs that I was unaware of, and watching the music video that accompanied the CD, it is now my favourite Creed song. 'Don't Stop Dancing' is a close second; also one of the lesser known songs. Creed figured out the formula to writing great rock anthems, and they should still be successful now.Their beliefs shouldn't make any difference as to whether their music is accepteable or not. it won't brainwash your children.

Buy it, and enjoy it. I know that I do.

I really did like this album, the only problem with it that a lot of these songs are on other albums so if you have their other albums, (Which I do not) then you will only get a couple of new songs.
I did think though that Creed made a good choice in their songs to put on the album. I would rate it over all 8/10.

Creed were always a favoured band of mine for one really big reason: Despite my dislike of 'Christian Rock' because of it's almost monotonous lyrics forever looping on just the one theme, I found I could really get into Creed's music, mainly because they made a great effort to keep the 'praising God' aspect of their music discrete. Sure, there are lines in there that are blatantly worshipful... I don't have an issue with that. It's the bands that basically go hard-out to do nothing but say "Gee God, you're tops in my book!" in a variety of ways... throughout the whole song... and the whole album... and their whole careers. They bug me.

I found, with repeated listening, that Creed's music still mentioned the good aspects of Christian worship, but they are scattered throughout, masked by double-meanings, or just plain metaphorical. That really scores big points with an ex-Christian, now-Athiest like me. You see, I found that it IS possible to enjoy this type of music without screaming "Will you just LAY OFF!" after 45 seconds of singing.

Overall, with all their highlights and hits, and a bonus DVD to boot, this is a great album to have, even if you aren't into Christianity. You will not find this album, or very much of the band's music really, to be overtly convert-making. I guess you could say, I felt comfortable listening to it, regardless. If this is what the modern era of Christian Rock is like, I say "Bring it on! I'd love to hear more like this."
