A write-right-in-it book to share with your friends.
It's All About Us is a journal of super-nosey surveys for girls to fill out right in the book. Subjects range from food to fashion to friendship to the very tween "total randomosity." More than 300 different questions reveal everything you never thought to ask yourself, let alone anyone else.
Since everything is better when you share, each survey is repeated three times, in three different colourways. Once you've taken a survey, turn the page and pass the journal and its matching pen to a friend. Or a relative. Or a brand-new acquaintance. Basically, anyone willing to share just a little too much information. Then compare results. The beauty of it is, even if the answers are different, everyone will still be right. Especially you. Written by Karen Phillips.
Comes with: A colour-coordinated ballpoint pen in a handy holster.

I bought a copy of this as part of my daughters Christmas gifts last year. She like her big brothers is a big fan of all things Klutz. Generally the klutz range on not like any other kits/ books. They offer a lot more to do and a lot more to read. Jam packed full of many exciting things. And as she is also a huge fan of diaries and journals as well as art and crafts, I knew this would be a hit with her.
It's all about us is a fun diary that allows you to answer lots of different questions/ questions then share with your friends to also answer the same questions, and then compare your answers. It comes complete with its own pen so you do not have to search for one. The pen is color coordinated to match your book and even has a special holster to store it.
As I expected she loved it, and as an added bonus she also included me in doing surveys with her, she did not limit it to just her friends, which was nice. The book, like most klutz kits, is made to high quality. It is a bit more expensive but definitely worth every cent spent. Any tween or teen girl would appreciate this as a gift and we both give it to thumbs up.
You can guarantee you take my daughter to a book shop and she will seek out any art, craft, or activity book. She loves reading but she is a real doer so books like this really appeal to her. When I first saw it I thought it was a bit too young for her as I remember her doing books like this when she was much younger but she insisted it was the book she wanted at the Scholastic Book Fair so there was no arguing with that.
The book is set out with mini surveys 3 of each so you can fill one out and then you can get your friends or family members to do the same and compare your answers. I did one of the quizzes with her which was about personal style, she fancies herself as a bit of a fashionista so this was right up her alley. Despite my initial thoughts about it being young I soon found the questions were more aimed at tweenagers who know about fashion and style and celebrities.
It is bright and colourful and has some interesting quizzes and she loves it but I wasn't overly happy with paying $25 for something like this so for that reason I didn't think it had the greatest value for money and wouldn't really be something I would buy as a gift for anyone. In saying that though my daughter is having a lot of fun with it and still has quite a few pages to fill out with her friends.

This will be the go-to book for busy people faced with the dilemma of having to come up with a costume at short notice. From quick ideas involving just a baggy Teeshirt and nine nifty outfits, to delightfully gross ideas involving bubble wrap and yoghurt, this how-to handbook is a lifesaver. Materials for costumes are raided from the pantry or the recycling.
