Product reviews...
Furry Tales the second DVD for the new line up of The Wiggles. For those that are familiar with their first DVD The Wiggles - Taking Off you will find that the new ones are now much more confident especially Lachy who was very weak initially. Someone who is new to The Wiggles we have a different perspective on this.
This DVD is a mix of the old classics and new songs. Since the oldies are now being sung by the newbies the sound is a bit different but I found I soon adjusted to it. The song I found strangest was "Wake Up Jeff" which has become "Wake Up Lachy" it just didn't seem right.
As the title suggests the theme of the DVD is animals. I do wonder if the person writing the blurb on the case had seen the disc or was just being witty as the Corroboree frog doesn't croak but squelches. Emma's facial expression when she is describing this is fantastic and demonstrates why she was given the job. My favourite song is "Cockatoo Crest" because the four Wiggles all spike their hair to resemble the crest. Since the guys have shorter hair their's isn't as impressive as Emmas bright orange hair.
We only see Wags, Dorothy and Henry very briefly in this DVD but Captain Feathersword makes several appearances. It is obvious that he has a great relationship with Anthony and they have been working together for a long time. My three year old really loved this DVD and I am sure it won't be long before we all know the songs off by heart.
