Cinnamon and vanilla flavoured ice cream with a raspberry sauce and sugary donut pieces twisted throughout.
Product reviews...
As Tip Top being a brand I have turned to in the past it was easy for me to give in to temptation and try this ice cream and I am glad I did. Crammed is the perfect name for this creation as that is exactly what it is. Crammed full of a variety of treats that just hit the spot to make it one of my most favorite desserts. An Ice cream with raspberry sauce, donut chunks with cinnamon all interwoven together was a fantastic idea that has certainly paid off.
Its flavor hits the nail on the head for what I expected it to be and It tastes exactly as the name suggests. Which is a very great thing in this day and age with brands trying out so many new adventurous flavors to stay out above the other competitor's. It is very hit or miss when branching out like this but I believe tip top have defiantly had a hit. Such a creamy soft ice cream with the cinnamon being not too overwhelming and the donut pieces being soft yet chewy.
It is a bit more expensive than other ice creams for the amount in the tub but it is a reasonable price for the product delivered. I have had ice creams that have been more expensive and yet sub par to this one. All in all if you like ice creams and are a fan of sugary donuts then this is really a no brainer and really is the ice cream for you (and me if your willing to share).
I love ice cream and always go for Tip Top over any other brand am the texture is just so smooth and creamy. I love jam and cream donuts so when I saw these tubs available in store I couldn't wait to have a wee sample, though I must admit I was slightly put off by the price for the small 475ml tub, you can often pick up a 1litre tub of Tip Top Ice Cream for the same price, sometimes even less. None the less I purchased it anyway ... how could I resist!
I am always on the look out for new ice cream flavours as there is only so much Cookies and Cream or Jelly Tip ice cream you can eat before you need a change. The Tip Top Crammed Jammin' Cream Donut flavour was not one to disappoint with a yummy cinnamon and vanilla flavoured ice cream with a raspberry sauce and sugary donut pieces twisted throughout it really was always ought to be a hit. The ice cream certainly did resemble the taste of a yummy cream donut filled with a tasty jam and sprinkled in lots of cinnamon sugar. I did however find that the little donut pieces in the ice cream to be a little sugary for my liking especially when you got more than one on a spoonful.
I would probably buy this again, for my partner if not for me as he said that this was his new favourite ice cream, the downside to this is that it is gone in 2 servings to doesn't last long. I have tried the Chocolate Eruption flavour is this new Tip Top line but the Jammin' Cream Donut was my favourite of the 2.
I can not go passed a cream donut. The taste of fresh cream or mock, I'm not fussy. Then that donut, soft in the middle, crusted with sugar and cinnamon on the outside. Biting into a cream donut you should be able to taste, dough, cinnamon sugar and cream. So with that in mind, I opened a tub of Tip Top's Crammed Jammin' Cream Donut.
The flavour was spot on. The cinnamon flavour is subtle, but just right for the taste they are going for. Cinnamon is actually a bit risky especially in an ice cream. Having just participated in an ice cream making challenge at work, and watching two cinnamon entries take a dive. It's all in the ratio of cinnamon to vanilla and this ice cream totally gets it right.
I loved the tub I got this in. The blue is a cute colour and the graphics are very bust and crammed with images. This reflects the crammed style of the ice cream too. The little tub I had would have been hard to re-seal, but that was not a worry because I had every intention of finishing it. Because it wasn't chocolate I didn't have to share either. Totally going to buy this one again and will be getting a nice big tub next time too.
Last week when my supermarket were giving away small tubs of this new range of tip top icecreams I tried this flavour. I didn't like it as much as the chocolate one but in saying that I am a bit of a diehard chocolate ice cream person. This one is a cinnamon tasting icecream, with a raspberry sauce and bits of sugar donut amongst it. Like the chocolate one there is plenty enough sauce for the whole icecream so it really is crammed full of taste and ingredients.
It really did taste like a donut albeit a rather cold one. I would definitely buy it again as I did like it, my partner prefered this one to the chocolate one whereas my daughter didn't like this one at all so it would be one me and my partner would get to share when she is not at home. The tub if you have someone with as much of an appetite as my partner is only big enough for two people anyway so quite an expensive treat icecream but totally worth it, these icecreams are really great.
