This dry shampoo can be used in a few ways and not just as a hair refresher in between washes. It removes grease from hair giving it the impression of being cleaner. If you lift sections and spray this underneath into the roots it creates volume. It can make your hair look thicker if you spray through dry hair and then blow dry and if you have been out and your hair doesn't smell fresh (Smokey rooms, BBQ smells etc), it masks the smells and your hair smells perfumed and gorgeous! The tropical scent smells great it is a mixture of coconut and exotic fragrances.
I suffer from oily roots and this helps to minimize that tremendously, it also makes my hair a bit softer and easier to manage when it's full of product and I'm in between washes. I usually spray it in my hair and and then rub it in real good, otherwise you may end up with some white powder in your hair. I also find it is to use even after washing my hair to add volume and give my hair a lift.
This is a great go to product on those days you don't have time to wash your hair or in between wash days to really pick your hair back up and leave it looking and feeling clean again. For activities such as camping or music festivals where you can't wash your hair this product is a lifesaver for giving the feel and look of clean washed hair. I also found this product to be really helpful for the times I've been in hospital and not well enough to wash my hair but want it to feel clean and not oily so was quick and efficient.
Batiste Dry Shampoo is available in 3 different sizes; a jumbo size which is 400ml, the one shown in the picture which is 200ml and a mini size 50ml. As well as this tropical scent there are other scents available to try.
My daughter has a real issue with having her hair washed. It has always been an issue with her, and one I hoped that she would grow out of. Of course at 6, there is still plenty of time for her to get over the threat of water and soap in her eyes. In the meantime, I can usually get away with washing her hair once a week. Baths are not an issue, but showers are a screaming match.
I saw this dry shampoo in the supermarket recently and was intrigued. At just under $15 a bottle, I thought it was quite dear so I passed it by. On the third stopping and looking at it, I decided to take the plunge and get it. This comes in a pretty yellow and green can, with lots of exotic floral shapes decorating it. It looks like hair spray or mousse of some kind.
When I showed my daughter, she was excited. She liked the idea immensely, as it was not going to be wet or need washing out. It was also a very quick spray. So even though the spray is quite forceful when it comes out, it's all over in a few seconds. This definitely did what it promised to do. Her hair instantly gained body and lost that greasy look. It also smelt sweet and tropical. She loves it.
On days when I haven't got time to stop and wash my hair, I give this stuff a quick spray instead. My hair smells pretty good, if not a little too sweet for me. It also stays nice looking for the day. The next morning, it goes a little lank but the spray washes out nicely on your next shower. We have had this can for two months so far and we are nowhere near the end of it.
