Frank lives alone, out of town, and is happy to be left on his own, however things aren't going to well. He's divorced, his children are estranged with one travelling the world and the other doing a several hour road trip once a week and hating it. He's also loosing hiss memory, which when you're a former cat burglar, isn't always the best of things. His son decides to give Frank a robot to help his health improve, much to Franks disdain, yet slowly a true friendship emerges.

This isn't the best 'robot becomes part of the family' film that I have seen but it isn't half bad either. There are some good names in this film and it all flows along nicely enough. There is not much in the way of showing how the world has advanced, just phones, Robot and the library (which I cannot say more on) but is very apt I feel.

Nothing about this film is stunning and while a nice enough film, it isn't one that I would watch again. It has heart but not enough of anything else to really save it, which is a shame as the actors did the best they could with what they were given.

Product reviews for listing 6092: Tucker & Dale VS Evil -  Directed by Eli Craig

Product image for Tucker & Dale VS EvilTucker and Dale vs Evil is a hilarious comedy about a pair of harmless hillbillies who are mistaken for vicious serial killers. Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) are headed towards their newly acquired dream 'summer home' when they save the life of a gorgeous college student (Katrina Bowden) who's camping in the woods with some friends. Before long a series of misunderstandings leads to Tucker and Dale being labelled psycho killers by the holidaying students. The situation quickly turns for the worse with ghastly but hilarious consequences.
