I would often use a wet wipe with some spray and wipe for cleaning up spills and messes from my little miss, so when I saw some wipes in the supermarket that were actually designed for cleaning and that contained dettol I thought they would be worth a go, I especially liked how the packet read that the wipes are dual sided with one side being like an ordinary wipe and the other with more of a rough texture which is handy for tougher spills and mess that require more than a 2 second wipe clean.
I was a little bit sceptical about buying these at first especially with the price tag of $11.29 which seemed a tad excessive for a pack of wipes, but like all new products you never what a products like unless you give it a go, so this is exactly what I did. The wipes pull out from the top of a plastic canister which is supposed to make them pull apart separately as you pull through the hole at the top, although this isn't always the case, especially near the end of the pack they seem to stick together a lot more possibly as they contain a lot more moisture. However this is not the end of the world simply pull off what it is you need and stuff the others back into the container.
I love using these wipes and most of the time will have a pack of them on hand, unless I can't afford to buy them one week. Knowing they contain dettol is a real selling point for me due to my little Miss having allergies to dust and various other things meaning it's important our house is always super clean, and dettol is a perfect germ killing agent. These seem to do a fantastic job at cleaning most surfaces in bathrooms, kitchens and coffee and dining tables, the smooth side is great for a quick one over or to soak up liquids where as the rough side is perfect for getting sticky messes off hassle free such as jam.
I would definitely keeping these wipes on hand especially if you have young children.
I have 4 toddlers in my home every day so you could imagine how often I would have to use these! The amount of wipes in the container does not last an entire week so $11.29 for antibacterial wipes is a bit hefty in this house hold as I do not find there to be enough for 1 container to last a week before next shopping day, But in saying that I love them and do purchase these! The sent is fresh and not too harsh on the nose it leaves a pleasant clean smell rather than a hefty chemical disinfectant smell. Dettol wipes really do a good job they make the sticky mess a breeze to clean up with the scrub side and doesn't scratch and leave marks.
I do find a few times I have used these they do not fully break apart so I end up pulling too many out at one time and they are super wet when this happens and as a "quick fix clean" this can be a pain. But that aside it doesn't stop me from using them and recommending them because they are great and you know you are fighting all the little germs. These keep for a nice clean germ-free environment for my family and will for yours too.
I have mixed feelings about this wipes because even if they are effective, the usability is not so good. By effective, I mean it can clean surfaces and it gives you the confidence that it is clean and clear of bacteria. the scrub side will ensure any that the surface is clear of dirt that sticks (e.g. rice -- which is very common in Asian family dinner tables like ours). It also leaves a sweet lemony scent that lasts a few hours, and it's not too wet so it won't leave marks on the surface.
However, I ranked it low on personal choice because of the usability. It was hard to pull the wipes out of the container and although the "rolls" maximised the number of sheets you can put in the container (or pull out of it), it was hard to take it out. I actually prefer another brand which container is rectangular and it's easy to pull out the wipes. Pulling out the wipes from this container can sometimes hurt your finger -- especially a kid's -- sometimes I ask my daughter to pull out the wipes and her fingers get stuck. I switched to a different brand after this. Or I just take out the whole wipes and put them in a different container.
I've only bought this once and didn't buy it anymore.
I love these, when I first heard about them from a friend I didn't believe they would be as good as she was saying, but thought I would give it a go anyway. Using these for about 3 months now and I'm loving them, they do everything from the shower to the cupboards and to the floor when something is spilt and not cleaned up right away and I can't be bothered getting the mop out.
It has a rough side to get all that dirt and scrum off and then a smooth side to give it a quick last wipe over getting all of it off. It leaves the bathroom smelling good, even the kitchen I use it on. Windows and doors about the house I use on aswell as mirrors, and it does a great job, of course I use it with other products aswell which keeps it all clean.
The only thing I don't like is the lid, I would prefer a lid that closes quick and easy with a small push, I tend to have to hold the container to close the lid while my wipe is sitting on the bench. If I want it quick I tend to push the lid it doesnt close and I don't click to that until the next time I need a wipe in that time some are drying up already which is a pain. Other than the lid I think everything else words well
