When I was first introduced to Astazan, I nearly did a backward somersault because it sounded like the answer to a lot of peoples problems.
My personal experience has been interesting. I am an active person, running/walking my puppy, cycling, weight training, and the odd day digging up my garden. So I was hoping for a miracle because I suffer from pretty much aching everything. I started on one a day, and after one month I thought I felt stronger internally but everything else still hurt so I talked to Jason from Lifestream.
He told me to knock knock hello on my noggin, because with the amount that I do I would need at least two a day. So I increased my dose and one month later thought about it again, this time I noticed a slight decrease in pain and a slight increase in stamina etc so continued for another month with the same feeling.
Then I ran out, and being a procrastinator I didn't get another one, within two weeks I noticed things getting sore and achy again. I started again, and I haven't stopped taking it since then. Some days I'll have three - like the day of the Tour de Manawatu cycle race, or the day I dug old tree roots out of my garden.
So now I take the dosage my body needs to help it through the tasks required, with excellent results.
It's great fun staying fit and healthy, it just takes a little effort and patience to get fantastic rewards. Look after yourselves and have fun.
For the last 4 years I have had a very painful arthritic right thumb joint, the one right at the base, so it's an important one for a swordsman like me. I also have a lower-back injury that gets rather inflamed and painful during extended practice sessions and strong exercise.
So, when the chance came up to give this Astazan a try, I thought it sounded too good to be true. After all, a natural inflammation-fighter that is related indirectly to spirulina (since they are both derived from algae)... that starts to show results in under a month... Nahh.... you're pulling my leg mate.
But, worth a crack, Nigel... Nigel? Anyways... 2 tablets a day with food (I chose to take one at breakfast, and the other at lunch) and wait for some signs of an effect.
Training as normal, back spasming as normal... 2 weeks of it. Then I notice that my back is getting less painful each training session. My thumb-joint is settling down, and the constant swelling is reducing rapidly! Shock horror, by Jove, I do believe it's working!
We are now 3 weeks down the track, my back causes less and less discomfort and sleepless nights, my thumb is almost totally pain-free and my sword technique is smoothing out nicely... painless practice! (Well, maybe not painless, but the pain is from not-quite-dodging a shot properly instead of a screaming spine, so that's progress.)
Very much anticipating further reductions in pain (my recent knee injury is still acting up, but it was quite a nasty injury, so time will tell on that one), and since I have been speaking to quite a few people who are currently taking Astazan, I am very much looking forward to the 'core-energy boost' they claim kicks in at about 5 weeks. I am already noticing that my morning 'fuzzie head' is shrinking in duration, leaving me alert and awake earlier each day.
Overall, VERY impressed. it's still a little pricey at about $2/day for the first fortnight, then drops to $1/day when you reduce your dosage to 1 tablet a day, but when you consider the pain relief is constant, not fluctuating like some other pain-meds, it's a small price to pay really. At 60 tablets per jar, I would suggest that if you are keen to give it a go, get 2 jars, that will give you 15 weeks worth. Be CERTAIN you take these with food first, then a strong-flavoured drink (I chose Lift+) because if you make the mistake of biting into a capsule, you'll probably gag. It's a very potent flavour for sure. But, looking at the big picture, this stuff is stunningly good.
