Double-strength conditioning cocktail. American Cream was inspired by a vision of 1950s US milk bars, bright red-leather-and-chrome, neon-lit cafes, where teenagers would meet and drink frothy, fruity milkshakes.
Our creamy conditioner is what the girls would have used to make their hair soft before going out on a date, dressed up in their bobby socks and circular skirts. The scent of honey, vanilla, strawberries and oranges is so sexy and sweet that dates can't stay away.

Lush has a great double strength conditioner called American Cream. It is a bit on the expensive side at $15.90 for just 100g but the larger bottles, 250g for $27.50 and 500g for $37.80 make it much more affordable. I only bought the small bottle as I wanted to try it and didn't want to spend too much on a product that might not work.
My hair tends to be dull and frizzy so the shop assistant at Lush recommended I try American Cream. It is much thicker than most conditioners. I have to remind myself that it is double strength so I don't need to use as much. I love the scent of it which is predominantly vanilla. It isn't too strong but it does help mask the stench of the anti-dandruff shampoo I use. The scent is subtle enough that it doesn't clash with any perfume I wear.
My frizziness seems to be more under control now. I am finding my hair looks normal rather than the unkempt mess (honestly I did comb my hair) I was accustomed to seeing in the mirror. I will continue buying this conditioner but only if the largest size bottle is in stock.
