PureAV Digital Video Dual-Link Cable product reviews

Specifically designed for digital devices, Digital Video Dual-Link provides the brightest, most accurate colors and sharpest detail for your HDTV/digital satellite receiver, plasma TV, LCD TV or monitor, progressive-scan DVD player, and digital projector. High-definition, all-digital video requires data to be transferred in pure digital form in order to achieve the best-possible performance from your digital devices. To obtain the highest-possible resolution from DVI technology, a dual-link, 24-pin connection is required. Single-link (18-pin) connectors can significantly limit the bandwidth potential of DVI. Dual-link provides the convenience of backward-compatibility with AV hardware that is single-link-enabled only.
High-Performance, Digital Video Dual-Link Cable with Tinned OFC Conductors for High-Accuracy, Natural Sound Quality.

Connected to Philips 17" LCD Screen, powered from an FX5200 AGP graphics card, this cable provided for one of the more memorable loans, "A DVI LCD screen" yummy

I was interested in the detail in some of the more enhanced games available and was pleased with the results. Battlefield 1942 and Desert Combat looked crisp and vibrant. I didn't have another cable of this type to compare with it but versus the normal interface there was no comparision.

As I have seen with Belkin, they continue to manufacture well made products and this cable was no exception. Due to the exspense of the screen I will be in the bad books with the wife soon Smile Icon
