It was dark and stormy night in Plum Street. In the little white house Mrs Bear was putting Sam to bed.
"Ready now, Sam?" she asked.
"Oh no," said Sam. "I'm waiting."
What can he be waiting for?

This is a perfect book for a bedtime story or a cuddle on the couch time. It has been illustrated very well with inviting colours for a child and each page is done for the story itself.
What I found great about this book while reading it was it started off the same as it finished, the story flowed very nicely and kept myself and my daughter guessing as it was the first time we have both read it. It goes though with Mrs Bear saying goodnight to her baby bear Sam and Sam saying he is waiting, but what is he waiting for?
Getting into it when they have done 4 different things and Sam is still waiting finally its revelled on what Sam was waiting for, I wont say cause you need to read it to find out. I could happily read this over and over with my children. Its also a great book to help children not be afraid of windy nights as its sweet and they see Sam goes to sleep in the end to. It is a great introduction to routine at bedtime as well, while we were reading it my daughter was saying we do that mummy.
I recommend it for many reasons, the fact is colourful, fun routines and keeps you guessing I have already been asked to keep it out for tomorrow nights bedtime story so it might become a favourite in our house.
