SodaStream - Premium Cola product reviews

We don't have our own soda stream machine as they have always been out of our price range and we don't drink a lot of fizzy drinks but when we stayed with my sister for two weeks over the summer holidays last year her soda stream machine got a huge work out with all of the kids and us adults for our bourbon.

My sister buys all the flavours for her kids and they are pro's at making their own but this is the only one I tried. We had bought some Jack Daniels and when I went to buy coke my sister said she would just make it with the soda stream. I was quite sceptical because I am quite fussy when it comes to coke and in most cases have not liked much other than Coca Cola coke, finding the cheaper versions too syrupy.

My sister made up a bottle of this cola for us as a mixer and let me have a taste to make sure I liked it. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and the way she had made it it wasn't too syrupy at all and in fact had that classic cola taste. It worked well with the bourbon and the best thing was when the bottle ran out we didn't even have to go out and buy more as we could just make another bottle!!

I am a coke fan....when I came across premium cola I had to give it a go...l tried it and liked it straight away. When I first saw the bottle it was a shock to see such a large bottle (because it was a bit larger than at the other flavours) that it only made up 6 litres. I was worried that if I put in 1 full cap the taste would be way too overpowering and way too sweet, so when I made it up for the first time I only put in half a cap full, and yes the taste wasn't right so I added another quarter cap and the taste was perfect.....just like a ready made fizzy drink from the supermarket.

The great thing about sodastream is that the drink can be suited to each person's preference....add more syrup or add less syrup, make a large 1 litre bottle or a smaller 500ml bottle. The cola flavour has a great colour to it, and holds a good amount of fizz in the bottle. It looks and smells like the real thing.

Using a sodastream maker to mix up premium cola drink is significantly better for the environment than buying ready mixed fizzy drinks from the shop ~ it's the earth friendly choice, without compromising on taste. The flavour bottles are recyclable and the measuring lids can be reused as a pouring vessel for young children (early childhood teacher cap on at the moment) to use during water play activities!

This is a flavour that I will be enjoying for years to come, and I always make sure it is on the shopping list before the last drop is used.

Have you got a Sodastream, well soda we, and we LOVE IT! Out of all the Sodastream drink concentrates, this one is my favourite, the main reason being that I like the taste of coke, I've only had coke a couple of times when I need it to wake up, but any other time I don't get to drink it due to the high caffeine and sugar levels; but thanks to Sodastream's premium cola flavour, I can enjoy that refreshing cola taste without getting hyper.

I had my first sip of this delightful drink while I was helping my dad do a video demo for KIWIreviews, and as soon as I tried it, I just instantly fell in love with it (metaphorically speaking of course).

The product is nice and cheap, but I can assure you, this was no rip-off, it had a great taste, and was nice and easy to use, plus the low price means that it is not a big hassle to replace the bottle once it has been used. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the drink, and am looking forward to trying the next flavour we get!

I loved sodastream as a child, so it was only natural that i would introduce my children to it too. So we purchased our sodastream machine this year. Not an orange and cream tall skinny machine but i sleek, sexy, black and silver funky machine. The price was a shock but its ok. It came with a sample syrup too, peach! So off to buy more syrups we went. One was the premium cola. It is kind of a sodastream must have.

Ok so the bottles are easy to read, displaying drink flavour on front and directions and ingredients on back. I do feel for some the print might be difficult to see. The bottle is reasonably easy to open. And the over-lid also serves as a measurer.

I often find it can often be a hit and miss with some of the flavours which say to add one capful, as everyone's tastes are different. But reality is you can add as little or as much as you like to the bottle.

The premium cola to me still tastes aa good as it did when I was a child and my children love it too. So thanks sodastream for not changing to much over the years (although the orange is way different now though, hehe)
