I was very fortunate to win a Cobi pavilion set in a Cobi Facebook competition. My own children are still too young for this but I was keen to have a play myself and see if it was worth starting to build up a collection for when they are older. My verdict is I will be adding to this set. It is great value for money compared to what I would get from Lego. I like that it is compatible with Lego (although I don't have any to try it with) which makes it great if we get given any the over-priced stuff.
I found the instructions had very detailed diagrams and were easy to follow. The result closely resembled the drawing on the box. As a adult it was great but for a five year old it would be too challenging. Younger children would find the pieces great for building their own creations.
The box contained stickers so that you could make the soldiers for your chosen army. There were also a couple of extra pieces of the tiniest bits that are likely to become food for the vacuum cleaner.
I now have to decide what Cobi set to buy next. It is great that shipping it free when you buy from Cobi as I can built it up slowly one set at a time.
