The Swish-a-Sink (previously knowns as the Siroflex Water Miracle) fits any mixer tap with an omnidirectional dual-stream aerator head that can flip between solid aerated stream and wide-angle spray as easily as flipping a switch, and can be angled to spray in every corner of your sink or basin.

Great for kitchen taps, these can be fitted to bathroom and laundry taps equally as easily.

I was lucky enough to win one of these some time back, when i first got it i was curious about what it was and how it worked so it wasnt long before i tried it out! Installation was simple, i checked the thread was clean, then just screwed it into the tap by hand! I loved that i didnt have to go into the "Man Cave" in search of tools! The only down side would be making sure you dont rip the packet as you open it as your instructions are on the back.

Its quite amazing how much this tap changes what you can do with your standard kitchen tap (where i installed it)... It now means you can reach every corner of our sink... it even squirts it onto the kitchen bench if you needed it. After using it for a week or so i decided to take it off and see how much i missed it... I live in a new house so have extremely good water pressure as it is but i had a certain someone in mind i wanted to share this with... After deciding i could live without it I passed this awesome tap on to my granny...

Being simple to install and simple to operate i figured this was something my granny could definately use. She has the worst water pressure i have EVER known... Water simply dribbles out of her tap. At first she thought i was a bit strange giving her this but it wasnt long before i got an email saying "Love the tap, i cant thank you enough, its simply wonderful, i have water pressure again!" That to me proved the real test! I was so glad to be able to share the love of the tap around.

I will definately be buying more for our house and her's in the future. Fully recommend to others especially if you have poor water pressure or want to easily be able to reach more with water in your sink!

I was lucky enough to be able to review the Siroflex Water Miracle. I got this soon after I got out of hospital, my son offered to install it for me but I said no as I wanted to see if a pain ridden, cripple like me could do it and guess what I could. The only thing I trouble with was reading the instructions as they were on the back of the packaging they came in, so its a case of making sure you open it carefully.

I have to admit I wasnt sure what to expect but anything that can make my life easier is great. I installed it on my kitchen tap & loved it right away. I hate trying to clean my sink as I cant get to the corners, well guess what, now I can. I then took the next step, I decided to wash my cat. Yes you did read right. My cat has a flea allergy plus is allergic to most flea treatments so I bath her, for me this is hard because of my disability. I just stuck her in the sink, turned on the tap & (excuse the pun) miracle. All i had to do was move the Siroflex Water Miracle around. No more jugs, no more bending over the bath..... perfect. Plus the cat didnt mind it.

I dont know how I lived without it but now I love my Siroflex Water Miracle & I will be getting more.

A friend bought a couple of these after reading the reviews on here and thought I might make good use of one, so sent it to me. Honestly, when I opened the parcel and saw it, I thought he had sent me something for the Mokopuna to play with. A read of the instructions quickly educated me to the intended use of this.

Even for an old gent like me, installation was easy and took only a few minutes and the use of an adjustable spanner to remove the old fitting and give this one a good tighten up. Seconds later I had turned the tap on and soaked the front of my shirt and pants and also the floor. LOL Icon I forgot to aim it and it was on spray setting meaning the water fired out far wider than I was used to after nearly 20 years in the same house.

A few towels got used cleaning up the mess, and a few choice words got rid of the giggling audience who had arrived "just to say g'day, eh Koro" when the courier dropped this off. Then it was time to see what this could do. An aerated water stream is not something I would have thought would make much difference, but it took a lot of the "hard" water pressure away and left the flow of water somehow lighter and easier to use. The spray setting put all that force back in, but aimed it in a few dozen jets of high-power water firing at a good clip. This setting was just incredible for rinsing dishes that had hard to budge food on them, like cheese sauce or mashed kumara.

Honestly, I am so impressed I plan to buy another one for the bathroom, and a couple more to give as gifts to some elderly pensioners I know who would really benefit from these. The ability to aim the water at any part of, or even outside of, the sink is something every kitchen tap should have automatically. Just be aware that if you aim it too far you run a high risk of soaking something. Probably yourself! Wink Icon

I have to confess that it took a few assessments of my taps to realise that I could just very easily unscrew the water diffuser thing already on it to be able to attach the Siroflex Water Miracle (SWM) attachment. Once I had figured out how to unsrew the tap the SWM screwed in so easily. The fit is perfect so no leaks.

It is incredibly easy to use. Pull down on the silver UFO type ring or push up depending if you want a spray or a stream. It took a while to get the hang of not putting our tap full on as the pressure sent water everywhere. The SWM seems to increase the pressure of the water coming through so when on spray I think I am probably using less water than normal. I put this on our kitchen tap so the spray setting is perfect for rinsing dishes. Because it rotates 360 degrees and angles up and down it is fantastic for rinsing oven dishes/trays, high chair tray etc and also for directing into both of my dual sinks.

Chrome and white plastic will go with every style house but it does look like you have a gadget on your tap as opposed to it being a "sophisticated" fitting. I would love this more if it was all chrome/metal.

This does have to come with a beware warning though. Because the SWM does swivel a little too well, be very careful when your children use it. There is the potential to get your kitchen very wet!! A temptation definitely too hard to resist for my Miss Five... Smile Icon

I would recommend this also for use in a bath as its like having a shower attachment or in your laundry tub as the spray setting is brilliant for rinsing nappies etc. Overall a very nifty little fitting and worth having at least one in your house as it is so easy to fit.

Having installed this in our #FoodLab kitchen, it was an easy job to put it through its paces on a daily basis. What a workout we gave it! 2-3 sinkloads of dishes rinsed, washed and rerinsed daily... using it to fill bottles, clean out tin cans, spray unwary children who got too nosy LOL Icon - it was a breeze!

Installation was simplicity itself... use a spanner to unscrew the filter fitting on the end of the mixer's spigot, remove and clean the old fitting, give the new fitting a quick check to ensure the filter was clear of any debris and the thread was clean, then just screw it into place by hand! No tools required. This fitting also comes with a thread adaptor, so that if you have a non-standard diameter thread on your tapware, you can still fit one of these.

With its dual swivels, this unit can be tilted to reach every corner of an average kitchen sink, and even tilted up so that, if you have the water pressure, you can fire water up and out of the sink. In some cases, this can be very handy - if you need to get a large volume of water onto the bench for a regular cleaning or in case of an epic cooking fail needing to be cleaned up pronto... or if the aforementioned nosy kids get within range again. Wink Icon

I found it a simple unit to operate, having the sliding portion UP for an aerated stream and DOWN for a high-pressure spray... and though I see another design of the same unit - that looks more like a diving bell and less like ET's taxi cab, I think I actually prefer this version. It just feels easier to operate and keep under control. For me, at least. Everyone will have their own opinions of course.

Overall, is this worth having? Certainly yes! In fact, I am considering buying a couple more to cover the kitchen, bathroom and washroom sinks at home as well. The ease of installation and use give it major kudos in my book, and the effectiveness of the spray - especially taking into account the low water pressure we have in the #FoodLab - makes this a must-have utility! If you aren't sure if it would work for you, keep an eye out for our soon-to-be-published YouTube clip of this beastie in action. We'll post the link here once it's completed.
