Sesame Street - Learning Letters with Elmo product reviews

Elmo just loves letters! In fact, he loves the letter J so much he decides to change his name. Meet Jelmo! Not only does his name start with J, but any activity he does has to start with J, too.

Will everyone's favourite little red monster remain Jelmo forever? Don't worry Elmo's love of letters doesn't stop at J! He absolutely adores The A Team with Ryan Reynolds and his imagination is ignited in Fetch the Letter I.

Animation, songs, and fun film segments reinforce each letter, making learning letters with Elmo as easy as ABC!

We were lucky enough to be picked to review Sesame Street's Learning Letters with Elmo. My daughter is a big fan of Elmo and Sesame Street largely from our adventures on YouTube. We use the Sesame Street channel on youtube a lot, from science experiments to songs and word lessons. I also grew up with Sesame Street and many of the monsters there, so it's nice to share that with her.

When I showed her the cover of the DVD she was thrilled and could not wait for me to put the DVD on. I put it on and we sat down to watch. This has a run time of just under an hour. We watched together and discussed the letters presented. It was a lot of fun.

I loved that there were some famous faces participating too. Made it just as much for the parent as the kid. The only thing I was disappointed in, was that it didn't cover the whole alphabet. You only get a small selection of the letters. So while they are really thoroughly explored, it would have been good to have the full 26 letters.

I mentioned that concern to my daughter who basically put me in my place. The end covers the full alphabet in a song and she loved the whole DVD. Enough to request it again. So there you go. Good value, fun DVD, which for my almost 5 year old was the best.
