Product reviews...
WOW where to start with this product, seedling has always been a favorite but of those we have tried this would be one of my favorites to date.
This was bought and created by Miss 8 who got the product for xmas, it was a joint effort and we had so much fun completing it together, a great rainy day project as it takes a few hours to complete.
first Miss 8 started off making her santa out of the make and bake clay, which came in a cool variety of colors, we used the eva sheet to rest and cut the clay on, and then joined the pieces together to make Miss 8's santa, beard and all.
While it baked according to the instructions, she decorated the band that sits at the bottom of the globe. we filled the globe with the correct amount of water and glitter allowing enough room to put santa in with out it overflowing. put the last bits together and there you have it a beautiful snow globe designed by miss 8 herself with a little help.
I was very happy with the instructions they were easy to follow, and made enough sense for kids to read without being over the top, which i appreciate in products aimed at children, that way they learn to read and follow instructions for them selves.
As always with seedling products I was Impressed with the packaging, although this one was a little tough to wrap for christmas i enjoyed the small challenge of not crushing it with my heavy hands :)
was impressed with the variety of colors provided for the project, rather then limiting it to reds whites greens which one could associate with xmas colors it was once again aimed at children with purples yellows blues and green.
I would certainly recommend this to all my friends, wether they have children or just arty types them selves, i personally think it was a great price for what you get and the time you can put into the project. even though it is recommended for 6+ if you are a patient person, your little ones could still create something out of the clay and you do the rest of the work.. would make an awesome keep sake, or even a gift to the grandparents once it has been made.
any way off to do the seedling pop art badges a friend gifted me the other day, won't be sharing these with anyone though, going to do some creating of my own :) hopefully i will have a review up on those for you soon.
