A bursting, big flavour with a touch of chilli on the end. Use with Camembert or blue cheese on a platter, on the side with a curry or slapped on a sandwich. Use in canapes or as a dipping sauce for meatballs.

I regret to say that despite some very high hopes for this product - mainly due to the peach being included - this was not to my taste. Though the peach did lift the flavour a bit, the strong lime undertaste just did not agree with me at all.
I can see how, for those who do like this taste - and there will be plenty, because everyone has different preferences - it could have a number of uses, from a simple toast spread to an ingredient in a casserole or pie. However, for me it had only one use - as an offering to someone else if they wanted it. I did manage to convince a friend who adores marmalades and preserves of that kind to try it, and he said it was more his thing than mine, but alas I could not convince him to join up and write a review of it.
Overall, the quality of the products is above reproach, the ingredients are wholesome and appealing... but I have reluctantly come to the conclusion that a Lime Chutney does not suit my tastebuds at all. Perhaps it will suit yours better.
Sadly, of the St Andrews Limes products that I was lucky enough to try, this was the only one I didn't like. I sampled it on the good old ham and cheese sandwich and it simply wasn't to my taste.
I wouldn't say that it was completely horrible, I'd certainly class it in foods I would happily eat to be polite. However for me there was just something that I didn't quite enjoy, I think it was because I found there was an initial sweet flavour but there was more of a bitter after taste that followed which I didn't enjoy. Completely defeating the name of it, I think it was the Lime that I didn't fully enjoy in there.
On the plus side though I did like how chunky it was and it looked really good! I was really looking forward to it which made my disappointment worse! However, chutney fans, do give it go, I can see it having appeal to others, it's just not one I'll be revisiting.
