Based on Simon Tofield's animations, "Simon's Cat" depicts and exaggerates the hilarious relationship between a man and his cat.
The daily escapades of the adorable, food-demanding pet and his doting owner come to life through simple black-and-white line drawings.

This book contains 240 pages of cartoon illustrations based on the hugely popular 'Simon's Cat' animated videos on YouTube. Cat owners of any language or culture will quickly recognise many of the antics depicted in these entirely wordless cartoons about Simon's cat.
I handed the book to my husband (artist, 3D animator, and primary target of our cat's attention) - in short order a variety of snickers and chuckles were emanating from his general direction.
A small amount of repetition in the ideas, but mostly varied throughout and plenty of funny places with a quirky sense of humour. They are reminiscent of some of the earlier 'Garfield' cartoons, but perhaps more consistently portray the essence of a genuine cat.
The original cartoons were drawn by Simon Tofield as a means of teaching himself 'Adobe Flash' (a popular animation program). Their incredible popularity on YouTube led to offers for him to create this book.
A delightful treat for cat owners!
