A WARNING - Your life is in jeopardy. As you read this, you are within reach of a murderer.
SNOWFLAKE is a psychopathic genius who has found a way of accessing the personal details of other net surfers - of getting face-to-face without their consent. The bulletin board has become a lethal weapon.
But when SNOWFLAKE locks on to Kate Lavin he also pitches up against her ex-husband Ellis Hoile, the only man capable of tracking him through cyberspace. The game is to get Kate - to get out of the labyrinth before the killer strikes - and it means playing the final round F2F.

Though written in 1995, F2F tells a story that carries truth even today, actually more so, I would say. With the tools available to hackers and data pirates, your anonymity online is almost zero. Every time you check your email, enter a chat room or view a website, you leave a trail of data that can be traced back to you, despite all the tools out that claim to cover your e-tracks. This book brings it home just what COULD happen if you let your guard down.
This book tells the tale of how one 'superior intellect' trawls the BBS's, Message Boards and Chat Rooms for potential victims, identifies them, then entraps them in his hidden lair. He leaves clues that only another mental giant can decipher. That's where Ellis Hoile enters the picture. He is targetted, along with his ex-wife, and so is drawn into the maniac's game of cat and mouse, where there is no cheese at the end, only certain death... but after all, in life, nothing is certain.
