ok so 'fun factor' might be a little bit hard to accept with something like this but fun is a relative term after all. i like watching the younger members of the family making all the 'oooh' and 'ahhh!' noises as they learn new things and answer questions they didnt know they had until they saw the information right in front of them. This poster in particular prompted a lot of attention from one of the kids who later begged me to let him take it home and stick it to his bedroom ceiling right above his bed so that "- at night i can look up and see the moon even when its not in the sky -" which i thought was really cute so i said of course he could have it. according to his father he stares at it each night before lights out and tries to memorise all the craters and special spots marked on the front. now that it is pinned to the ceiling he cant read the back but has already read most of it and decided its a bit beyond him just now. however since he is also trying to learn german he apparently likes to compare the different language versions and try to work out the german words. great to know that such a cool poster can be so educational in so many ways. hard to find but certainly one of the coolest posters i have come across and well worth the effort of finding.
