I am new to drinking Port, and have so far been unimpressed with the brands i have tried. They have all been sickly sweet and far too strong for me. So much so at one point i had to hold my nose while trying one as just the scent of it made my stomach whirl.
The label on the bottle is very country looking with hills and a stream in the background and fruit in the foreground. The bottle is fastened with a plastic and cork lid. This is a definite plus as i ALWAYS break corks in the bottle.
That is until i found Celestial Wines Port. It smells sweet, but not overpowering. It is a sweet red wine that goes great with any dessert. It is great for a night cap, but definitely not the alcohol of choice to get drunk on. This port deserves to be drunk slowly and respectfully to get the sweet taste and aroma. It will leave your mouth salivating for more.
