I tried this out on my 11 month old son. At first glance this toy appeared to be pretty cool, it was nice solid shapes that were easy for little hands to hold and the colours were nice and bright. Once opened and given to my son, the turtles and frogs were quickly snatched up and put straight into the mouth and thrown across the floor - standard tests carried out by any respectable baby. These shapes certainly took my 11 month old's attention as wherever he crawled to, he kept at least 1 shape firmly in his grasp or in his mouth. He was a little young to comprehend the sorting, stacking, and linking element to this toy but he loved them regardless of that. My almost 3 year old son also had fun with this toy and immensely enjoyed the fact that HE could stack, sort, and link the frogs and turtles together. So all in all a great toy that appealed to both my sons and a toy that they could both safely play with unsupervised.
