Yet again we are treated to Keanu Reeves playing Keanu Reeves playing someone else. Yup thats not a typo. I meant to say that. Have you ever noticed that Reeves always seems to be Reeves? The only time I have ever seen him actually acting is back in his early 'Bill & Ted' days. This time he plays a crooked cop who gets set up as the fallguy. Talk about karma coming back to bite your arse. After watching the movie three times I found it was wearing thin pretty quick even though the first time around was quite good. The plot had a lot going for it and really could have been a winner but I think someone like Mark Walberg would have been a better actor for the role and would have given it a lot more 'lift'. I mean even the artwork on the front cover looks more like Walberg than Reeves. Still it had some great dialogue and some awesome action scenes so is worth watching at least once to see if its your kind of thing.
