Fusion Power Razor product reviews

On the front, 5 Blade Shaving Surface Technology.
Fusion has five blades spaced close together. This distributes the shaving force across the blades to help reduce pressure - for less irritation and more comfort.

In addition, a Flexible Comfort Guard follows the contours of the face to help the shaving surface comfortably shave closer.

On the back, 1 Precision Trimmer Blade.
Fusion's Precision Trimmer Blade is built into the back of the cartridge. It's perfect for tricky places, allowing you to easily:
    •  Trim sideburns.
    •  Shave under your nose.
    •  Shape facial hair.

Power features:
    •  Fusion Power features gentle micropulses for an incredible shaving experience.
    •  An onboard microchip, taking your shave to the next level.
    •  The onboard microchip ensures consistent power every time you shave.
    •  A low battery indicator light flashes when it's time to change the AAA battery.
    •  The automatic shut-off feature turns the razor off after about 8 minutes in case of accidental activation, and protects the battery during travel.

The short version: By far the best shaver I have used in over 20 years of shaving... since I decided that a scraggly beard didn't really suit me.

The slightly longer version: After having many happy years of smooth face, thanks to the predecessor of this unit, the M3Power, I decided to move up and try this 'Fusion' concept... I mean, an extra blade sounded pretty good to me... allowing me to get into those tight spots on the face... but after a few months I came to the realisation: Because I have a goatee, I don't need to trim my upper lip, and my sideburns are taken care of just fine during my normal shave... so the extra blade didn't really serve much purpose for me. Those who prefer a face-fungus-free upper lip would, however, find the extra trimming blade a godsend, as a mate of mine confirmed when I handed him a fresh blade to try for himself. (Yup, he went right out and bought one of these!)

The 'power' aspect of this unit was great, though I admit to not really understanding exactly how the vibrations make for a smoother, more comfortable shave... but like any technological gadget these days, if it does the job, just roll with it... the shave is much smoother and there is far less 'rash' if I have it buzzing away. This little unit is also quite power-efficient... with me still not having to change the battery after well over 100 shaves so far and counting. Mind you, with the sheerness of the blades, shaving takes far less time now, so that could have something to with it too.

Overall, probably the best blade shaver on the market today... and I sincerely hope they stick with it for years more... unless they can somehow make it better, this should stay well stocked on shelves nationwide for years to come... please.
