Have you got eyes in the back of your head?
As the lady enters the garden with the glorious celebration cake, why is it that not all eyes are on her? Can you figure out what is distracting some of the party goers?
The picture you see on the box lid is NOT the puzzle picture, it is simply a CLUE to what the puzzle picture is. Look into this scene, entitled "The Secret is Out" and imagine you are the man in the stripped jacket and funky tie.
What can he see beyond the BBQ that is causing the man cooking the burgers to look so shocked? This is the view you have to complete.
The last clue shows some of the parts of the puzzle in silhouette on the back of the box. If you use these as your starting point, it should help you complete this very witty puzzle!

I LOVE Wasgij puzzles. They're always entertaining, they're always funny, they're always enjoyable and I always want to finish them as soon as I can, just so I know what's going on in the background. This one was just as good as all the rest. So if you like Wasgij, then you need to ass this one to your collection.
The only thing that ever annoys me is that I keep getting confused, and wonder why the puzzle isn't matching the picture, but that's just habit, and one I'm happy to break thanks to these fabulous puzzles.
These are perfect if you like your puzzle to be a challenge.
Thenth Anniversary, 10/10 score... seems fitting really, doesn't it. I am not usually a great fan of jigsaws, but after helping my son with one of the Hema World maps and watching him enjoying how it made his brain kick into high gear, I thought I should get back into the puzzles a bit too... something different from playing on the PC. Sure, I have had a whack at another Wasgij before, but every one I do just makes me want to do more.
So, I unpacked this one and started to tackle it... WHAT A MISSION! I thought the other one was tough, but this one just had me scratching my head most of the time. Eventually though, I started to remember how I did the other one... ignore the picture, just look at the patterns along the edges. Find common elements that span across pieces and work ono them. As time goes on, the big picture will emerge, and so does the humour.
Now, I am NOT going to give the game away and tell you what the picture is, but I will say that in line with the artwork in the 'clue picture' it is quite a chortle. The puzzle itself, well, it's a real challenge not having the picture on the box to work from, but that's the real point of these style of puzzles. You could almost say that it is harder than a normal puzzle, but easier than a normal puzzle where you throw the box lid away. At least the clue puzzle gives you SOME idea what to look for...
Overall, a real hoot. A brain-buster, in the good way, and I loved every minute of it. The ends certainly justified the means... And when you consider the potential fun, $25 is as cheap as chips.
