Product reviews...
I've just finished listening to this album... and... well... "le sigh" about sums it up!!! I'm already listening to it a second time around!
I fell in love with John Mayer's music the first time I heard it, and absolutely adore "Heavier Things" and "Room For Squares", so of course was almost drooling when I got my hands on his latest, "Continuum".
This album is by FAR my favourite of his! It has his usual cruisey, laid back kind of sound, but with a new "funky" feel spicing it up... definitely quite different from the other two albums.
I really don't know which I love the most on this one... Mayer's singing, or the amazing guitar solos threaded through most of the songs. I can see myself playing this album over and over for quite some time before I get even remotely ready to try something else.
If you're a fan of Mayer, you'll be insane NOT to go rushing out to buy this one... heck, even if you haven't heard him before, but enjoy great relaxing type music with fantastic lyrics, and wicked guitar sounds, then again... run as fast as you can to the nearest music store and add this treasure to your collection!
