Discovering a Dazzling, Unique and magical Faerie World

An enchanting evocation of a faerie world combining, stories of adventure, heroism and innocence with beautiful images drawn from tradition and technical wizardry.

Do faeries exist or are they figments of the imagination? This delightful book, a playful mixture of 'reality' and fantasy, will charm even the most sceptical of readers.

Deep within a trackless forest, student-architect Cathryn Thomlinson photographs a tumbledown cottage and comes across a long-hidden manuscript under the crumbling floorboards. While intrigued by its references to 'faeries', she dismisses it as the ramblings of a mad old woman, the long-dead Good Dame Kellerman. Later, she is astonished by what her photographs reveal. There, amidst the plants and trees surrounding the cottage, are beautiful winged beings smiling mischievously at the camera.

Thus begins a story that takes readers on a journey into a world of fantasy that feels compellingly authentic. In the Forest Fey presents Good Dame Kellerman's account of her discovery of the faerie world, alongside Cathryn's ethereal images of the faeries, including the impetuous fire faerie Tirra Flamefrolic, the graceful water faerie Alarissa Fernspray, and the leader of the Faerie clans, Ashreyel the Wise. Kellerman's spellbinding tale describes the hidden world of faeries, there heroic deeds, and their special relationship with the natural world. It is a magical place, at once separate from our own, but with an undeniable relevance to it.

Beautiful in appearance and timeless in its appeal, In the Forest Fey will enchant all who read it.

WOW!!!

With some of the most stunning pictures I have seen in this genre, this book is a pearler...
Not only beautiful women, but handsome men and cute children too!!

The story is the diary of an elderly woman during the mid 16th century who sees the fairies who live around her home... She diaries her growing knowledge of the faeries as she learns about them from Alarissa Fernspray, a Water Faerie. She learns of the clans, the different types of faeries and of specific faeries and their stories too...

Accompanying all the stories are the beautiful pictures, with the faeries depicted in poses that feel right...

Vanessa-Gaye and Kerry-Gaye have done a wonderful job creating this book, and its one I will treasure in my book collection for a long time to come.

Product image for Animorphs - 2 - The VisitorWe can't tell you who we are. Or where we live. It's too risky, and we've got to be careful. But everyone is in danger. Yeah, even you.

If someone told you Earth was under a secret invasion, what would you think? Rachel had a hard time believing it, even after she and her friends saw what they saw - and received an incredible power to become any animal they touch.

Rachel knew they were in danger from the start, so ... more...
