Product reviews...
Take 1 child, 1 crazy hair day at school, a little google inspiration, and some coloured hair spray, some other bits and pieces and for a few small dollars you can create some pretty wacky and out there hair styles without to much effort. Thank goodness for that! lol although if your child is like mine, she cannot decide on just the one crazy hair and has to have two haha
Colour hair spray, it is fun, it is easy to use, it is cheap! And apparently, as we recently found out, it is also available in a glow in the dark variety. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a photo of it glowing last night, and had to just use today's photo of her hair before she went off to school, but that is ok too. The glow in the dark range is available in different colours. We chose orange. According to the bottle, the colour should match the lid, however we found the colour to be much more darker, deeper orange than the lid, but that is ok too.
As far as glowing goes...it is possible you maybe need specific lighting. We could see where we had sprayed on her hair last night in the dark, but it did not really glow glow as such, but it had a faint shimmer, if that makes any sense. We were not to bothered by that though, as honestly for $2.50, it is not worth complaining about, and you get your moneys worth anyway.
Easy to use. Style your hair how you want it, then spray on. Do the last bit in a well ventilated area, or better still, do it outside. Make sure ya face is covered as it has a very good spray and it smells. It smells a lot. Not an offensive smell though, it is quite fruity, but for those who have sensitive noses it will annoy. Also do not inhale it in, especially in the nose, as it will burn, so my husband informs me (so do not breathe when walking by it being sprayed either haha).
Although the colour did not match that of the cap, it looked really funky in her hair, with a bit of a glisten too. We were quite suitably impressed with it, and very happy with the final outcome. I believe it would show up much more if sprayed onto darker hair though. And tonight when she gets home, it is easy to remove with a small amount of shampoo and some warm water, as we found when washing it out last night after checking it was ok.
All in all a fun hair spray that is cheap to buy, seems to hold the hair in place, changes the colour of the hair like it promises, is easy to use, and glows some what. Certainly can not complain about that for $2.50
