Product reviews...
I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to try 3 more of NZ Vapors e-juice flavors recently. Belgian chocolate, Granny smith apple and Old fashion caramel.
I decided I would sample them using an R.D.A (dripper) to minimize cross contamination between flavor changes, I started with the Granny Smith Apple. First puff was excellent. Great flavor although I didn't get a real apple flavor so to speak, It did take me back to the tangy apple lollies we used to get when I was a kid though, which is even better for my taste. I could easily vape on this flavor all day. Good vapor production from this one as well.
Next up was the , I generally go for anything with caramel so I had high hopes for this flavor. I was a little surprised on the first puff as it had more of a coffee flavor than a caramel, but then again I'm not entirely sure what old fashion caramel is supposed to taste like. It vaped really nicely though with good vapor production and a kind of creamy after taste. Probably not an all day vape for me personally as it is a fairly strong flavor, but definitely good for a change of pace.
Only problem I have found with e-juice that has a coffee flavor to it is I can never seem to get the flavor out of my coils when I change juice. So after a quick change of coils I was all set to finish with desert.
Belgian Chocolate, super accurate flavor here. Rich dark chocolate hit on the first puff and a nice creamy chocolaty exhale. I really struggled to not chew while vaping this flavor. Definitely a must for any sweet tooth vapers out there. Personally I couldn't vape this one all day but then again I couldn't eat chocolate all day either, but I would keep a sly bottle of this in my juice box for sure.
All in all 3 really solid flavors that all deserve their own reviews. Just like all of NZ Vapors e-juice the packaging really separates it from the masses especially with the juice drippers, which make it really easy to fill your tank or wet your wick.
I received the Rad Bull 30ml bottle which smells and tastes exactly like red bull. Although I am not a red bull fan to be perfectly honest it wasn't an unpleasant vaping experience. Being that I am still a smoker trying to give up I thought it was kind of strange "smoking" something that tasted sweet at first but it's not so bad now.
This particular variety is 12mg of nicotine per ml which I thought sounded quite high although I don't know how much cigarettes themselves are so it could be pretty normal. I did find I could tell it was giving me that nicotine hit as I sometimes got a little head rush when inhaling. It was nice starting off with a nicotine variety so it helps me to cut down on the amount of a nicotine hit I need in a day so I can start to cut right down over time.
The bottle is black so you can't see the contents inside and it comes with an eye dropper type thing to measure out the ejuice into your ecig which was really handy. The other important part about the bottle and lid is that is has a child safety cap on it as it would be a bad thing if the kids could open it and get into a nicotine liquid so I was impressed by that. It also means it seals nice and tight so you don't get spilt sticky liquid inside your bag when you take it out with you in your kit.
All in all I quite enjoyed this variety but I did find that even being an e cigarette it did still make me cough a little if I inhaled to much which I wasn't expecting from it.
The bottle looks good and promotes the product in a positive way having a clean and modern look to them. The deep green and clean label makes you want to collect and keep them after they are used up. They are especially reusable because of the pipette built into the lid. Very handy for refilling or precision ml measurement.
The Port Royal is smooth and mellow and does not have any harsh overtones that might be expected from a tobacco substitute flavour. However whilst I was impressed with this flavour I found it to be very close to actual cigarette tobacco and this could potentially tempt a return to smoking cigarettes. This is possibly a catch 22 when getting into vaping because all information recommends that you stick with the tobacco flavours first because the artificial pineapple lumps flavours or the coffee flavours will seem totally alien to the smoker.
In this case the Port Royal was so good that it could be a trip up point for a seasoned vaper. I really connected with those familiar tones however and there would be no better choice when starting out to keep with familiar tastes. This flavour is available as "no nic" (0 ml/mg) or nicotine mixed in different strengths. The nicotine mixed will take a little longer to arrive as it comes from LA.
