I enjoy a good coffee and so was very excited to give this a try.

This comes in a foil bag, which you tear the top off and then zip lock it closed, tearing it open this was really easy and there was no need at all to get a knife or scissors to tidy it up and make it unjagged. The aroma was gorgeous and I couldn't wait to give this a try. My wife, who can't really drink much coffee, also said that she would give this a try and my coffee loving mother in law simply had to have a cup.

I really liked that there was no chunks of coffee left floating on the top of the drink. Taking a sip I have to say that I really the taste for this and my mother in law really enjoyed it as well. My wife didn't enjoy it as much and found that it affected her as much as any other coffee does, I really like the taste and I've been having it every morning since we got the coffee. I also decided to experiment a little bit and put some of the coffee in with cream cheese, let it mix through and made a coffee cheesecake, it was so nice.

I will be buying this again for sure.

Avalanche - what a GREAT coffee you have created!! Perfect with the combination of freeze dried and infused fresh coffee, for those of us that would LOVE to have a fresh coffee all the time but for one reason or another just are not able to.

Starting with the pack - easy opening, no need for scissors, a knife or teeth - don't you just hate it when the "Tear Here" bit is useless?!! Wonderful wonderful wonderful to finally have a resealable refill - thank you!! The size of the refill is fairly standard 90g, and would be awesome to see a bigger pouch size as a possibility.

Look / dissolvabilty /taste /aftertaste - none of these can be faulted. The coffee has a similar size and shape to another great coffee brand, and is a little darker to look at - making it look a little fresher to me! Dissolved well, leaving no black "looks like an ant" floaty bits - always a good thing!! Taste was great - nice strength and kick, and no icky aftertaste.

At a cost of $10ish - is it fairly on par with other similar products - and definitely worth the money. You will not feel disappointed purchasing and drinking this coffee. Definitely would purchase again - going to try the other strengths too - can never have too many options for coffee, right??!

YUM! Coffee is always a much needed start to the day!

As soon as I unsealed the packet the coffee smelled so good and so fresh! I also love that the packaging is stylish and reseal able it would be great for camping trips! That's a bonus in this house hold! I liked that when I made it there were no coffee "bits" floating to the top of the drink as there is with many other instant coffees. It was delicious and smooth to drink. It is the type of coffee you would expect from a little cafe without the fancy bits. It was fantastic.

Avalanche will also become a regular item on our shopping list, I made hubby his coffee and straight away he asked if we had a new coffee. I also had some friends visit who asked where the coffee was from and if we had a coffee machine, it really is that good. So I told them the brand and that it was instant coffee my good friend didn't believe me even after I had shown her the packaging so I made another one so she could be sure!!

The best part aside from the taste though is the smell! Lovely!

MMMM Coffee! What better way to start your day or a mid afternoon pick me up than a decent cup of coffee. It would be fair to say I'm a little bit addicted to coffee I have a coffee machine at home and really struggle to find a decent instant coffee to drink at work.

I think thanks to Avalanche Duo I may of finally found an instant coffee worth drinking! As soon as I opened the bag the smell hit me it smelt like fresh coffee beans not the horrid instant coffee smell you often get. Next was the all important taste test, I made it up the way I normally make instant coffee a teaspoon of coffee and little milk and hot water.

The coffee mixed perfectly there were no bits floating on the top that sometimes happen with the cheaper run of the mill instant coffee. The taste was also perfect, it was rich and full bodied more like a coffee you would expect from a cafe than an instant coffee.

While Avalanche may seem pricey compared to other instant coffees it's a much fuller richer blend, the 15% fresh coffee puts it at a whole different level to other instant coffees. Paying the bit extra is worth every cent if you enjoy a good cup of coffee.

I was really excited to be able to have the chance to review this product. I am an avid coffee drinker and very very picky when it comes to a decent coffee. Have been drinking the same brand of coffee for over a year as have not been able to find anything that I like. First amazing thing about this coffee was the resealable pack PERFECT! No more hard coffee, coffee spilling in the pantry or having to put it in a coffee container that isn't air tight. The "tear here" part tore perfectly off so no need to crack out the knife to recut it. So far so good!

Secondly, the coffee had an amazing aroma as soon as I opened the pack. The coffee had a nice crunch to it when I felt it between my fingers. I made myself a cup of coffee to have with my breakfast and I was blown away. The taste was bang on so It didn't need any sugar. To me I felt like I was drinking a take away coffee that I would pay a barista to make. It mixed in easily with my milk and water.

I would have to say this is now permanently on my list for the grocery shopping and it has now officially replaced my old favourite brand. Top work Avalanche on making an amazing coffee. One very happy coffee addict here.
