What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? From the indomitable DC Comics and the makers of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat comes Injustice: Gods Among Us, a bold fighting game featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons.
Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale. A deep, original story compliments the fighting action that pits many of the great heroes and villains from the DC universe against each other - Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others lose their allegiances and fight for Injustice!

I don't usually do superhero based games, the only ones I've really gotten into are Lego based and that's thanks to my wife.
If you are familiar with Mortal Kombat then this is a game for you basic character movement has the same staccato style which feeds into the weight and brutality of each attack well enough. While Mortal Kombat and Injustice are rather similar they are different enough in the end that you could enjoy it without comparing one to the other. Each character has their own traits, which you kind of have to figure out on your own, as you go along and the good thing is that each one is unique to the character and their personal background.
The graphics are ok, and I guess I can understand them wanting to maintain a Mortal Kombat feel and keep it a dark game, since the lines between good and evil are very much blurred here, but it just isn't something I like and so I found it hard to really get into the game, which is a shame as I had liked the idea of it. At the end of the day it is an ok enough game, there's some fun to be had here, that's for sure, but if you didn't LOVE Mortal Kombet or that style of game then you may find yourself not enjoying this game.
