Double Trouble - Skateboard Stars! product reviews

Meet Thomas and Cooper.
Identical twins. Master pranksters!

The best thing about being twins is that you always have twice the fun (but get in double the trouble!).

Tommy and Coop's all-time favourite skateboard star, Jed Michaels, is holding an awesome skate competition! Everyone will be there! But can the twins come up with a plan so they BOTH can be the champion skateboard star?

Tommy and Coop are twins, who really love pranks, and pranking, they do it every day, every chance they can get, they also get into double the trouble, and love it. In this book, Tommy and coops favourite skater, Jed Michaels, is holding a skate competition, and both Tommy and Coop want to be the champion. They must come up with a plan to make this happen.

The Double Trouble books, are an easy to read, simple story that is made with kids aged 5+ in mind. I think they are perfect new entrant stories, as they are not to long, and very easy to read. I think they would especially appeal to boys, as they cover most things young boys love, and as I said they are easy and simple to read.

The soft cover books have an appeal to kids picture on the front, and the pictures inside are pencil drawn and also easily appeal to children. These books are cheap in price, and a quick easy read. They are just the right size for stocking stuffers, and suitable to use a rewards for good behaviour or achievements. I would even go as far as recommending them as aids for teachers to use to entice boys into the world of reading. Older children however will be easily bored by these books.

Product reviews for listing 4221: Old Hu-Hu
Written by Kyle Mewburn

Product image for Old Hu-HuEveryone loved Old Hu-Hu. But nobody loved him quite as much as little Hu-Hu-Tu. Old Hu-Hu is a thoughtful tale of young Hu-Hu-Tu's search for understanding of what has happened to his beloved Old Hu-Hu, who flew all the way to the moon (or so they said), then fell down dead. Sensitively written, this is a beautiful story of death and the celebration of life, with powerful, evocative illustrations by Rachel Driscoll.
