Santa is back and he has a stinky problem in Nicholas Allan's latest naughty rhyme. We love! This year, Father Christmas has had three helping of sprouts. As he tries to deliver all his presents, his tummy rumbles, gurgles and groans. But he knows he must keep it in - he doesn't want to wake all you children up!
If you read Father Christmas Needs a Wee, we bet you already adore this blushing Santa. Super-funny pictures and a Christmas story all about bottom-burps: this book is a right toot. Sorry, hoot.

One word: Hilarious!
My daughter thought it was the funniest thing ever. What kid wouldn't love a book about Santa and farting?!
This book is about Father Christmas having a huge Christmas Eve dinner with plenty of sprouts (I love the hidden message the sprouts are yum) and then going off to deliver gifts to all the boys and girls, all while trying so hard not to fart and wake anyone up. There is a little elf that joins his and is his constant reminder to not "bottom blow," "parp" or "toot." At the end of the story, the reindeer are so exhausted and are lying in the sled when Santa and the elf get back and by this time Santa can no longer hold it in and does a huge fart which releases enough air to fly them back home and on the way it wakes up all the children on Christmas morning.
The illustrations are very nicely done and full the whole page with colour which is great for keeping kids interested. On some of the pages the words wrap around certain images making it a fun story to read and helps you to really get involved with it.
Nicholas Allan has done a wonderful job with this book and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a bit of a sense of humour who is looking for a slightly different story about Christmas.
