Chunky roasted capsicum with cashews and parmesan.
Product reviews...
As a family we love outdoor picnics and are always keen to try out new items. We found the roasted capsicum chunky dip and decided it would go great on our bread rolls with cooked chicken and mixed salad. The kids were a bit funny about tasting it due to the appearance as its red and chunky however I spread it beneath the cooked chicken and they were none the wiser and eventually built up the courage to try it even our 2 year old couldn't get enough of it!
I found it to be very affordable in price and it has a good shelf life once opened. It also pairs well with a variety of other foods so it becomes more than just a dip.We have used it with cooked pasta and a tin of tuna for a easy weeknight meal and also on pizzas and used on a platter with veggies and pita bread chips and cheese.
overall this product is well worth the cost and if often found on special at my local supermarket I would recommend to anyone who is looking for something different to spice up there meals or add to a cheese platter very nice! and very moreish.
I was introduced to this dip at work by a colleague and wow it is just amazing, it is so diverse I found a range of ways to incorporate this into lunch, dinner and have it for snacks. It is an affordable price and unlike other products I have found like this has a good shelf life once it has been opened, which is important to me.
It teams up great with a variety of foods, I used this with avocado and tuna on bruschetta breads or cruskits for lunch and would then bake a potato in the oven or microwave scoop out the filling and mix it with what you had scooped out of the potato add a little cheese pop it back in the potato and then bake or heat until the cheese was golden. What a yummy way to serve a boring old potato.
It is also amazing when mixed through some fresh pasta with cooked chicken and mushrooms. It is endless what you can do with the dip. I have recommended this to family and friends to try and they have all been impressed with it.
You don't see it on special often at the supermarket but it doesn't need to be as I'm sure when you try it you will definitely buy it.
I am a huge cheese platter person especially in the summer or when entertaining. I like to have a bit of a variety on my cheeseboard with some nice cheeses, fresh fruit, crackers, pates, and dips. My normal choice of dip is a nice flavoured hummus but recently I have been using this dip as it is just so delicious.
This has so much flavour with the capsicum coming through really strongly, but the parmesan gives it a nice cheesy flavour too. The thing I love the most is the chunky bits of cashews it gives it such a nice nutty texture which is perfect with crackers. When we made up a cheese platter on the weekend I ended up just having the dip and not having any of the camembert or blue vein at all as the dip was so moreish.
It is quite expensive but so worth it, but it is only something I would buy from time to time as a treat. The tub is quite small so doesn't last long although that could be because I slather so much on my crackers. Totally recommend this for your next party or gathering it makes such a nice change from the usual boring dips.
