i love the lollies that The Natural Confectionery Co make and am always excited to try new products that they bring out, always a good reason to purchase and test out my favourite brand of lollies. When I saw these on the shelf I was immediately drawn to the fun cartoon pictures on the bag and thought that these would be fun and a good laugh to enjoy with my partner and daughter during our movie night.
Upon opening the packet there were all sorts of fun and quirky face disguises, moustaches, lips, eyes and noses they were certainly designed as a fun lolly to try with others. My partner straight away started holding these up to his face and making funny faces with them, which Miss 2 found quite hilarious and started copying Daddy by doing the same with the lollies she pulled out of the bag, obviously though she wasn't fussed on what lolly she was holding so she had lips on her eyes and a moustache on her lips but either way she was having a lot of fun, this was a rather good bonding activity between her and Daddy with so many silly and funny faces being made.
The Natural Confectionery Co lollies are definitely one of the more expensive lollies on the market but I would rather pay the extra to get this brand as they contain real fruit juices and actually taste like fruit and not a whole pile of sugar like some lollies do. There was a decent amount of lollies in a pack and enough for our family of 3 to have at least 6 lollies each which a fair amount for a special treat. These would be fantastic to have on hand at family gatherings or BBQ's and also for kids birthday parties, such a lot of fun!
A friend bought a bag of these over last night for our weekly gathering. OMG, best fun ever! Basically its a bag full of Natural Confectionary Company jelly lollies. I love this company and will often pay the bit extra for their lollies. They are made with juice, all natural and they taste delicious. Plus their variety of shapes and things, makes them ideal for cake decorating and engaging my child in fun activities. Not to mention some bribery!
We opened the packet and I was pretty thrilled with the contents. Purple lips, red lips and I mean funny kissy kissy lips. Green moustaches and then a variety of funny teeth. The teeth were the perfect shape for a child's mouth. I loved that about these because often the lolly teeth you can get are too big to fit properly into the mouth. I donned a pair of lips and a moustache and surprised my daughter when I asked for a kiss. She was delighted and then wanted to make her own disguise.
The bag very very quickly disappeared and rightly so. The lollies were very tasty but most of all we were all having fun, being funny people. My daughter ran about with some buck teeth for a bit. She loved the moustache, it reminded us of my moustache birthday party last year. The lips were a big hit too. These would be excellent for cake decorating, cupcakes. A bag of them in the cupboard would be helpful for those last minute requests for cakes where you have to decorate a face. They'll be great for Halloween too. I'm totally going to be stocking up.
