According to the blurb on the back this film is based upon the play which is based upon a true story. Four young women of aboriginal background love to sing and yearn to be famous. When they sing in a talent quest the catch a man's attention and he helps them train and audition to sing for the troops over in Vietnam.

The singing in this is wonderful and some of the songs are a great deal of fun. This movie has a good mixture ranging from romance to drama to comedy and comes with a lot of heart. It's always a good sign when a movie manages to cover those aspects and cover them well. This is a movie that I would recommend it to anyone who loves good music and great acting.

Overall I think that this is a very well done movie. There were a couple of bits that seemed like it was added in just for the drama, but who knows, real life can be a bit bizarre at times. This is a fun movie and well worth the watch, may even get a few tears rolling.

Product image for X-Men: Days of Future PastConvinced that mutants pose a threat to humanity, Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) develops the Sentinels, enormous robotic weapons that can detect a mutant gene and zero in on that person. In the 21st century, the Sentinels have evolved into highly efficient killing machines. With mutants now facing extinction, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) volunteers to go back in time and rally the X-Men of the past to help change a pivotal moment in history and thereby save their future.
