I was captivated by this story from the very first page. It is based on the Lambert sisters whom lost their parents in a car accident. The oldest, Rebecca took charge of her three younger siblings with Catriona (Cathy) being the youngest whom was 8 at the time of the accident.

I connected extremely well with all of the characters, and the book was heart warming, fun, playful, enchanting and an emotional read. I was sad when the story came to an end.

The emotions hit high throughout the book as Rebecca and Cathy both share their sides of their lives. Rebecca does this through her journal entries and Cathy through her letters to her dead parents. These writings are a deep insight into each of the individuals and help you to connect with their characters.

Based in Dublin, Ireland the story begins with all the trials and tribulations that come with a parentless family with four girls. At 15 years old Cathy leaves Rebecca a note saying she'd run away and don't try and find me. This is because Cathy has a secret she can't tell her family. It would shatter them. From there she is helped by a truckie who helps her to get to London.

Whilst in London she is nurtured by a caring lady called Alma. London is also the place where she gives birth to a son, Conor. From there she moves to New Zealand and created a new life for herself and made herself a successful business.

15 years later Cathy is getting married and she wants to find forgiveness from her sisters for running away and reunite with them. The book also concentrates on her sisters' journey to New Zealand.

There are many twists and turns in this novel, it was such a great read I couldn't put it down hence a few very late nights lately! Definitely worth it! Great work!
