This is a really well made book.It is a nice big size, and a hard cover (great for durability with young ones).

When i saw that the book was written by Brooke Shields, i was a bit taken aback, and thought to myself that i didn't know that Brooke was multi talented! But multi talented she is!

The story is about Frankie and Violet spending the day with their Dad while their Mum has a rest. They spend the day playing hopscotch, watching basketball, going to the dog park and making pancakes.

This is a fun story to read, and my daughter loved it! It even got her wanting to make pancakes (even though she doesn't like eating them! ). The story also gives parents and children alike lots of fun ideas to do on a nice day.

The illustrations are bright, bold, beautiful, and are very appealling to young children, lots of pink, green and purples!

Well done to Brooke and Cori!
