A store-bought card or calendar can never be as personal as one you've created yourself, and those websites that provide you with custom cards and calendars are great - exept for the time and money involved.
But now, with the help of the simple step-by-step instructions in this comprehensive guide and its accompanying CD, you can create one-of-a-kind cards, invitations, announcements and calendars using your own digital photos. It's as easy as 1-2-3:
1: Choose your favourite image(s)
2: Use the CD's link to Adobe Photoshop Elements and follow the authors' expert advice to edit, crop and retouch your photos.
3: Pick your favourite template from the disc and customise it to suit your needs.
Transform your digital photos into keepsakes your friends and family will treasure!
Great for Scrapbookers!

You can go online and download a few thousand free templates, and still not find as much quality as you can find on this CD... though there are only 40 templates, they are all highly functional and in most cases fully editable, with text and colour schemes adjustable simply, easily, and to an amazing degree.
Definite Pros:
• 40 very cool, well textured and coloured templates.
• Layered Photoshop PSD documents
• Easy to edit and adjust to your little heart's content.
• Something suitable for any occassion.
• The CD is dual format, for Mac and PC, so it's open to anyone to use.
Cons:
• They don't include Photoshop Elements on the CD. Just a link to the Adobe website.
Now, this is really my only gripe... sure, there are 2 versions, Mac and PC... but there is unused space on the CD, and many of the potential market for this book will be on dial-up, so probably won't be willing to tie up their 'net connection for a day or so to download the application.
Overall. an excellent resource, and unlikely to become too dusty on the shelf... especially if you have kids. Trust me on this... if the kids are artistic in any way, they're going to LOVE this!
