I had purchased a set of games and a copy of Man Bites Dog was among it. This is, in itself, a VERY simple game and so quick and easy to pick up the rules that I can see why it is aimed at taking along to a party. Each player gets dealt five cards, you can then pick up to three to discard and be given new cards. Everyone then arranges as many of their cards as they can, in a sentence that makes sense (or at least some semblance of sense if you act like its a headline that didn't get grammar checked) and then you all take turns reading your title out to the audience in the hopes of making them laugh. At least if no one laughs, you still get to score by the numbers on each card.

I've mostly played this as a two player game, occasionally as a three player and have started to find that some of the headlines we create are very similar to previous games, so whilst there is a god number of cards, repeated play means you may end up seeing similar headlines over and over. This is definitely a game aimed at those who can put a logical sentence together, though my friend and I take a little creative license at times (because after all even big publications stuff up at times) and just try to have fun with it. I am glad that I didn't pay full price for this game, I would have felt it a waste, but this is a fun game to pull out now and again.
