Once again Targus have come up with another winner in the range of laptop accessories, this time in the form of a great laptop carry bag. While looking basic in appearance it feels quite durable and should protect the laptop inside from pretty much all the jostling and bumping around that these type of laptop bags are subjected to. The inside of the main bag is very roomy and as stated will easily accommodate a laptop of up to 18.4", if you have a smaller laptop then my advice is to make use of the supplied divider and store either your mouse or your power supply, then you can avoid the situation where your laptop bag's front pocket ends up looking like a rats nest - you know, the sort where the bag ends up being almost as thick as it is wide, because there is only enough room in the main part for your laptop then you then have to shove everything in the front storage area, and as there is no extra pockets in there, it all just gets lumped in and stuff ends up getting either broken, or tangled up, and you have to spend a good 10 minutes untangling the cables to actually be able to use your laptop. Located in the main cavity are two good sized flexi-weave pockets where you can store all manner of stuff, I found it ideal for things like calculators, pens and my operating system and driver CD's, as well as any documents or files I need to keep handy for ease of access while using my laptop. The front pocket/storage area has been extremely well thought out and there are even more handy pockets here that are just perfect for your cellphone, PDA, business cards and flash drives. Taking into account everything this bag has to offer I consider this to be the perfect accessory for today's mobile worker. |
